Brain matter

Warning: Taking a break from the serious folk over at the Post production blog so this blog may reek of POOP, read at your own Risk

The onus has once again fallen on me to to do something stupid . . .like typing this blog for instance. While chugging some kellogs this morning the thought struck me; what was this thought you might ask?? It was quite literally the thought of nothing and I liked it.

I could have thought about anything from the Watchmen, or of my sincere hatred of Oprah( have you heard there was another case of sexual misconduct at her school, man those chicks know how to get downLaughing) and yet I thought of nothing. I geus it was the emptiness of "nothing I found so alluring.Since in our daily lives we are always confronted with things to think about such as DP, do I cold wash or warm wash, is my white shirt sexier than my blue one, DP, missed Prison break again, DP, that we rarely ever get a chance to NOT think. The occasional weed does kind of help the not thinking part but when all the colours start appearing and the dragon starts to chase me I have think again.

It's probaly just me(again) but although I liked thinking of nothing it is always important to think about something(not always  porn or Kelly Hu or shakira).Where will our brilliant ideas all come from??? Like inventing a new improved pencil that has it's own eraser on top( Where have I seen it before . . .???) But I think you do get the importance of thinking so I won't dwell on it.

So that brings to a close another blog by not the captains, George or post production.

When the time comes . . .

Hey so I have this great idea I'm just waiting for the right time . . .

How many times have you not heard the above statement??? Someone always going off about waiting for the right time. But I should ask when is it really ever the right time? See time waits for no man, and we all surely die, ergo our time is limited to the amount of time we still have left. Yet as humans we are prone to procastinating and being very idle in our lives, thus when the reality of the routine sets in and we realise that to either fufil our potential or snag a chance at being truly happy we bring in the time factor.

The time factor runs something like this, "I really like doing (insert activity of choice) but I just don't have the time" or "I can only get a opening(for whatever) somewhere next week" and the funny part is that opening next week just doesn't open. Or we realise that the thing we want to do would take alot of effort and that the effort is just not worth the time.

But the time factor hits an all time low when compared to the consequence factor in relation to time. You can imagine any thing that you have wanted to do but in light of the consequences decided against it, then you bring in the line "the timing was'nt right" .Per se there is this situation which could end up very embarrasing to you but you know that if you tried at another time it might work out differently, you would of course go with the "other" time.

This leads to us closing off moments in our lives that could end up defining the time we had on earth or life experiences we will surely laugh at in the future. How much regrets don't we have and we make it all right in our minds by telling ourselves that the timing was all wrong or some other sob story.

So I will close with this, the timing might never be right but If we really want to do something we should create the right time.
