Creative-Writing-Companion.com is a website offering advice and inspiration for creative writers. The aim of the resource is to provide a "friendly, personal and comprehensive site for anything a writer could need". The site is divided into sections, including: 'Writing prompts' (short exercises designed to spark ideas); 'Writing Ideas' (an overview of the basic elements of fiction); 'MFA Programs' (advice on graduate writing courses, designed for an American audience); 'Time Management'; 'Writing Resources' (online links to related resources); and 'Books' (suggested reading lists for fiction writers, divided by historical period). The site also gives some background information on the author of the site, and provides links to a related blog and newsletter. The website is still a work in progress, but would be of use to anyone interested in writing fiction or studying the subject further. Intute.ac.uk
