The Center for Science in the Public Interest, which has been around since 1971...

The organization also has a abiding interest in what it calls "sound science."Its ongoing Integrity in Science Project "combats corporate influence on science and science-based public policy." Toward this end, the organization maintains "an open database of public records of scientists' ties to industry." The database - searchable by last name, research topic, university or company - currently contains information on more than 4,000 scientists. The information comes from a wide range of sources...
