WWW virtual libraries: India and Pakistan
This website is part of the Asian Studies World Wide Web Virtual Library group of sites. It offers access to a host of resources from across the internet, all evaluated and inspected before being added to the database. The India and Pakistan section is split into three portals covering India, Pakistan and Kashmir. Inside each is a list of headings into which the various resources available are organised. They cover arts, history, language, religion, politics, current affairs, social studies, bibliographies: all manner of subjects. Selecting a heading takes the user to a list of websites, each with a description and evaluation. The breadth of subjects covered in the site and the number of resources listed is impressive. This and the simplicity of the site making this useful for scholars of all disciplines.
