FIFA 2010 World Cup Research Project
A special project of the Human Science research council, South Africa. The main focus is upon: Urban development: relating to the event and legacy for South Africa. This includes coverage of city development, urban regeneration, economic development, media representation of events. The site contains notes on the project plus free access to reports and papers by its researchers. These include longitudinal surveys of South African attitudes towards the hosting of the world cup (from 2006 onwards). Columns from 2010 issues of business day.
