INVITATION TO THE E/MERGE 2006 CONFERENCE OPENING
"e/merge 2006 - Learning Landscapes in Southern Africa" is an online conference taking place on http://emerge2006.net from 10 July - 21 July 2006.
The Centre for Educational Technology takes pleasure in inviting you to the conference opening function, which will take place on: Monday 10 July 2006, 5pm - 7pm in Level 2 of the Leslie Social Science Building, Upper Campus, University of Cape Town. Please circulate this invitation to your colleagues as well.

- Keynote address by Professor Kuzvinetsa Peter Dzvimbo, Rector of the African Virtual University (by Internet video conference): "The limits and possibilities of e-learning in Africa: A brief exposé of the AVU experiences"
- Questions from the floor and Internet participants
