Clicking on this will provide a link for the corresponding RSS feed which you can subscribe to via your news aggregator or RSS reader. Or you can have the alerts come to your email.

Items in the feed are article titles and brief citations. The "Read More" link takes you to a full citation page.

The feeds last indefinitely as long as you access the feeds within one week of creation and no more than two months goes by without new data in the feed.

Short Loan And Copyright Clearance

General Trackbacks (0)

The Copyright Clearance Reports for photocopies on Short Loan are only valid for the year in which they were granted. So at the end of each academic year, all photocopied items are removed from Short Loan and returned to individual academic staff.

To keep items on Short Loan, one needs to apply afresh for new Copyright Clearance to CHEC and then re-submit to Short Loan. The procedure is outlined on the Short Loan website.

The procedure for placing photocopies on Short Loan is governed by the DALRO (Dramatic, Artistic, and Literary Rights Organisation) Blanket Licence Agreement which came into effect at UCT on 01 January 2006. This licence is administered by the Publishing Liaison Office (PLO) of the Cape Higher Education Consortium (CHEC).
