I MISS MY POOCH!!!!

i wanna pet. its not fair.

Im not saying that we should be allowed to keep dogs/cats/ponies/donkeys/pigs/younger siblings/boyfriends and the like in our rooms in res, but there are SMALLER PETS which should be allowed!! i want a pet. i want one now!

Having a pet, no matter what age you are has benifits whether you are young or older. A child having a pet teaches responcibility, which can be used through out the childs lifetime, and for both the young and old, this pet can be a companion.

If we were allowed pets in res, it would make our residance experince more worthwhile. we would have to be more responcible due to the fact that we need to care for the pet, and would therefore learn responcibilty at an integral stage of development. it teaches the yoht of today to be less self-indulged and self-centred, and to reaise there are others out there that need us.

Having a pet in our rooms, would make them feel more homely and relaxed and if the students had pets at home it would make the res room resemble somethin closer to home. thus making one enjoy ones rs experience to the fullest

As i said, i dont want a dog or cat or or or.... but a simple goldfish? why not?
