Public Service Broadcasting Bill - call for comments
Posted by Ingrid Thomson | 3 Nov, 2009The Department of Communications has, in terms of section 3(1) of the Electronic Communications Act, 2005 (Act No. 36 of 2005), gazetted the Public Service Broadcasting Bill, Charter of the Corporation and the Charter of Community Broadcasting Services as a process to repeal the Broadcasting Act no.4 of 1999.
Comments can be emailed to Miyelani Khosa at miyelani at doc.gov.za by no later than 7 December 2009

Posted by Humbulani Rambau 09 Feb 2010, 09:04Pursuant to section 3 (1) of the Electronic Communications Act 36 of 2005, notice is hereby given that the Minister of Communications, General (Ret.) Siphiwe Nyanda has extended the closing date for public submission in respect of the draft Public Service Broadcasting Bill, Charter of the Corporation and Charter of Community Broadcasting services.
The new closing date for public submission is 15 January 2010.
