Anyway... this is to let you in on a little secret end-of-season sale that is happening at lunchtime today, and tomorrow, in Cape Town... Crayon shoes (as sold at "Frock" on Kloof and "Misfit" on Long street, among others) and clothing by Chica Loca will be on sale for ridiculously discounted prices to clear the way for the new summer stock... Crayon shoes are locally made too, which is another thing to love about them
We are talking leather shoes from R20.... thats less than you will pay for lunch these days...
So, while shoe shopping may not be the most urgent issue in our times today, most of us have to wear shoes (how is it that hippies are immune to cold feet?), so go forth and bargain shop, and keep the money you save in so doing, for that aid-work trip to the mozambiquan orphanage I know you have been planning all year... :)

okay so i went to the sale today after only getting the later hiddingh jammie, having to wait in heavy trafic only to find out that there is a huge accident on orange street, so we sat in the traffic some more and decided to jump out and walk the rest of the way. With like ten minutes to spare before going to work i scrambled up the stairs and to my delight-there were clothes as well as shoes on sale. I thought the shoes were probably a bit pointy and mostly not what i was after but those prices made me think twice. With R200 being the most, i mean for leather pumps, that is not bad! But in the end all i got was a R50 top-thingy. Its really sleeves and shoulders but the sleeves are ruffled and its black licra with sequins so i thought what the hell. Thanks to you fi* for the great hint-keep em coming girl!!!!
