the life

i had quite an interesting experience in a "white" club once...my friend's boyfriend decided to take us to one because his friends were going.i walked in thinking "hayi sure it might just be fun" because i saw so many people. when i got inside i wanted to cry because the music was awful and there were people jumping around and nodding their heads ridiculously to some really really loud music that didnt make sense to my ears...my friends and i just stood there not knowing what to do, we were the only black people there afterall...

now i wonder if that's how a white person would feel if they went to a predominently "black" club...would they feel as out of place as we felt?
