Elmer: the Social Science Resource Center
Elmer is a wiki based social science dictionary that aims to examine
different meanings for terms across different social science
disciplines, evaluating how the terms have evolved in meaning over
time. It's free to use, and as with all wikis, this relies on audience
participation, though you need to contact the site's editor and founder
(Martin M. Elissetche) to become involved as a contributor. (Martin is
a PhD student at the University of Maryland in the USA). The site lists
1000+ definitions, mainly of social sciences concepts, and there are
plans to expand the coverage into biographies, historical events etc. From Intute.ac.uk
