access to information and leaflets on: Anxiety and phobias (including a
leaflet for carers and professionals); Coping with trauma; Shyness and
social phobia; Anxiety, panic and phobias; Benzodiazepines; and Smoking
and Exercise in relation to mental health. The treatments section
provides links to information on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
Complementary and Alternative Medicines (herbal remedies and
supplements), and antidepressants. The children and young people section
provides access to 'Worries and anxieties - helping children to cope'
(aimed at parents and teachers), and an extensive recommended reading
list of books aimed at children, young people and parents. A link is
provided to an article about self help books for phobias and panic
disorder. Some leaflets are available in other languages.
