My Autoblography
Posted by Kamilah | 31 Oct, 2006Well, here we are again. It's exam time, the beginning of the end of another gruelling term. I've just handed in my final essay this afternoon, and my brain has already gone into OFFLINE MODE, so please forgive the less-than-stimulating post.
It's my autoblography... the summary of my blog up until this post. It really isn't all that much as I would've hoped I could manage to post some more. But nevertheless, here it is.
"Watchblog". In retrospect, I should have changed the name. I chose it initially because I thought I'd create a blog dedicated to film. But of course, somebody else beat me to that (aaarrgghh, I'll get you Carly!) No I'm just kidding. I just decided to stick with it in the sense that I'd play the role of watchdog to all media forms, not just film. It has, however, turned out to be more of a stream-of-consciousness type blog which just comments on things that I may have experienced or had been thinking/talking about, that I considered would be at least a tad interesting for other bloggers to read.
When you really get right down to basics though, a blog is a weblog, or personal online journal, and since all of our lives don't conform to any particular trends or themes, why should our blogs reflect this? Personally, I was interested in just about everybody else's writing, no matter what about, and I respect individual's choice of topic, style and content.
I thoroughly enjoyed the seminar, as well as reading everyone else's thoughts. I hope my blog provided at least a moment of entertainment or a morsel of food for thought for each of you.
