How do you know when to call it love? When a friend of mine told me she is in love after being with her boyfriend for a mere two weeks I started to think is it really love or is it lust or infatuation? What does being in love entail? Do you have to know them inside out or do you just follow what your heart is telling you? Does anyone really know what love is? There are just so many questions concerning the meaning and the understanding of love...

I love a large quarter pounder deluxe with a cream soda and extra mayo on the side is that the same love as Jack and Kate experienced in 'Titanic'? They didn't know each other for so long and they are said to have been in love and Jack gave Kate the only object that they could keep one of them afloat...Not many guys now would give that up....They would rather keep themselves afloat especially if their other option was to give it to a girl they just met on a cruise...

Many people use the words 'I love you' during a hot steamy session when they actually want to say I love the way you are making me feel, so they are really not in love but just caught in the moment and in LUST.

You definitely do not love the person you see everyday on campus and never talk to, even though you have envisioned each other married with children. I repeat you are NOT in love as this person does not love or even know you... so stop being a stalker. You are suffering from INFATUation.

I guess everyone has their own definition of love and being in love. When you are really in love, you will know, you will feel it in your heart, your soul, and throughout your whole body from your head to your toes. One thing for sure is that love cannot be forced and 'love does not alter when alteration finds'

Its funny, I often wonder the exact same thing. How does one know the difference between LOVE and LUST. Its very confusing because some people use the term 'love' so loosely, like in the movies when a man barely knows a woman but he tells her he loves her. Then there are those who take the term very seriously and may only say it to their partner after being together for a long time! I guess there is no right answer to this, its just a matter of opinion. There is a guy who I have liked for almost a year but I cant be with him becaus ehe has a girlfriend. I think about him everyday and would like nothing more than to be with him, yet i think I am just infatuated:) Oh well, either way, love and infatuation both hurt like hell
