I felt that this was all just a publicity stunt to get people to purchase both the artists new albums that came out on the same date. September 11th. An important date to the Americans (9/11). For the public to be able to judge which artists album was better this meant that they had to purchase both 50 and Kanye’s new album. This battle was just to boost and make sure that both artists sold a relatively high amount of records.
This stunt was a great idea as it got both the artists albums noticed all over the world and this created a great anticipation for the releasing of the albums. Both Kanye and 50 are great rappers so putting them against each other gets a lot of people attention.
I feel the Kanye is the winner of this ‘battle’ even without even listening to both the new albums as I feel that 50 cent is unoriginal, boring and ugly. He is always going on how he got shot eight times and how gangster he is. If he is so gangster he doesn’t have to tell the whole world, we can figure it out ourselves. He uses his gangterism as a publicity stunt.
Is 50 just all about publicity stunt?
Will we ever know the real Curtis Jackson a.k.a 50 cent?
