Kudos to new health profession educators

Congratulations to all of the following UCT staff who have recently completed postgraduate studies in health professions education.

Amaal Abrahams, Linda Ganca, Nina Holderness-Parker, Rene Krause, Sithombo Maqungo, Liesl Morales-Perez and Shaheen Mowla all obtained their Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professional Education from UCT in 2015.

Chiv Gordon has recently completed her MPhil in Health Professions Education with Stellenbosch University. Chiv’s research project was about the educational experience and value of SHAWCO clinics for students. It was entitled “Volunteer, community-based student-run clinics for the underserved: Can they be used to attain 21st century medical education goals?”.
