{"id":72,"date":"2017-07-10T14:48:54","date_gmt":"2017-07-10T12:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uct.ac.za\/FoodEthicsIden\/?page_id=72"},"modified":"2017-07-10T14:48:54","modified_gmt":"2017-07-10T12:48:54","slug":"june-workshop-methods-consumption-studies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uct.ac.za\/FoodEthicsIden\/activities\/june-workshop-methods-consumption-studies\/","title":{"rendered":"June Workshop on Methods in Consumption Studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In June 2017, academics, students and others gathered at Newcastle University in the UK to attend a workshop organised by the project entitled &#8220;Researching the Everyday: Insights from Consumption Studies.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was attended by many scholars and students researching different aspects of consumption in everyday life, including subjects related&nbsp; to food, clothing, and other consumable goods. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Shari and Beth took the opportunity to present initial findings from the pilot phase of the&nbsp;project in Cape Town.
