The vision of the SHARE Initiative is to build the capacity of healthcare workers, educators and leaders through simulation-based education (SBE) research, training, and networking to capacitate them to transform and improve healthcare education and clinical care.
Our pillars of work include Education, research, community and innovation.
Education
Advancing clinical knowledge translation, communication and teamwork to improve clinical care and education.
Research
Developing a network of researchers to produce contextual peer-reviewed research.
Community
Creating a strengthened continental network of engaged and supported simulation educators and researchers.
This initiative is housed within the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Cape Town.
