Today, we held a #JaggerLibraryMemorial to share this devastating loss together as Libraries staff. For those who have nurtured the African Studies collections over many decades, it’s a loss akin to losing a child. For many, a part of their soul. #UCTFire

Today we lay in ashes, but tomorrow we will rise again #UCTFire #UCTWillRiseAgain
